Iced Vanilla Latte

Smooth espresso, vanilla syrup, and cold milk over ice — the everyday classic, made simple.

A note on coffee

I grind my own beans and prefer a medium roast, using about 18 grams per drink. If you use pre-ground coffee, start with 18 grams and adjust to taste.

Ingredients

  • Monin Vanilla Syrup — 2 tablespoons
  • Milk of choice — 6 oz
  • Ice — to preference

Equipment

  • Serving glass or coffee cup

Instructions

  1. Pull the espresso. Brew 2 shots of espresso directly into your serving glass.
  2. Add the syrup. Stir in 2 tbsp Monin Vanilla Syrup until fully dissolved.
  3. Add ice. Fill the glass with ice.
  4. Top with milk. Pour 6 oz of cold milk over the ice.
  5. Stir gently and enjoy.

Tip: Add a small pinch of ground vanilla bean or a splash of cream for a richer, more aromatic finish.

Prefer it hot?

Skip the ice, warm and froth your milk, and pour it over the espresso-syrup mix. Same drink, cozier.
